Prompt-injection screening
Every inbound email is checked against ten pattern families, from instruction overrides to tool-call attempts, after invisible characters are stripped.
Quarantine
A high-risk message reaches your agent as a placeholder marked untrusted, not its body. A person on your team can still read it. On by default.
Canary tokens
Every thread puts a canary token in your agent's context. A reply that repeats it is blocked by default.
Thread checks
A sender new to a thread is flagged, and one who also flips what the thread is about is held for a person by default. For seven days after a high-risk message, your agent's replies on that thread wait for a person.
Policy on every send
Duplicates, cooldowns, suppressions and send limits are checked before anything leaves. Your agent can tighten a rule. Only a person can loosen one.
Autonomy you set
Every mailbox starts fully autonomous. Turn one down and its first emails to new contacts, or all of them, wait for a person to approve. Your agent can hand a thread to you at any time.

Sends to your team don't count

Sends to your own verified team addresses don't count toward your send allowance, on every plan: your members' verified emails, plus notification addresses someone confirmed through the link we email them. Up to 3 on Free, 10 on Solo and 25 on Team. The hourly limit and every other check still apply.

Spam never counts

Mail quarantined as spam, phishing or malware, or for prompt injection, never counts toward your inbound allowance. Received mail never uses up your sends either.

Past your allowance.

On Solo and Team, email keeps moving when you pass the monthly allowance. Extra sends cost $1.50 per 1,000 and extra inbound email $0.50 per 1,000, on your next invoice. Sends stop at twice the allowance, so a runaway agent can't run up an open-ended bill, and the daily limit still applies. On Free, sends pause at the allowance until the next month, and inbound email past 1,000 is still received but held from your agents until then, or until you upgrade.

Free needs no card, so it's for a person with a confirmed email address. An account your agent creates buys Solo or Team instead: it gets a checkout link and hands it to you. Nothing is charged until someone completes the checkout.

Why price by mailbox?
Because the mailbox is what your agent works in. Each plan comes with generous email allowances, and sends and inbound email have separate ones: 10,000 sends and 5,000 inbound emails a month on Solo, 50,000 and 25,000 on Team.
What counts toward my allowance?
Every email your agents send, except sends to your own verified team addresses (up to 3 on Free, 10 on Solo, 25 on Team). Inbound email counts toward its own allowance, never toward sends, and mail quarantined as spam, phishing, malware or prompt injection never counts at all.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
On Solo and Team you keep sending, and extra sends are billed at $1.50 per 1,000, up to twice your monthly allowance. Past that cap, or past the daily limit, a send is refused with a rate-limit reason your agent can read. Inbound email is never bounced: past the allowance it's still delivered and billed at $0.50 per 1,000, and you get an email if it reaches twice the allowance. On Free there is no overage: sends pause until the next month, and inbound email is still received but held from your agents until then, or until you upgrade. During a paid plan's trial, the trial limits are a hard stop for sends, and inbound past the trial's 300 waits until the plan starts.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, for people. Free has 3 mailboxes on a shared domain and 3,000 sends a month, up to 100 a day. Free sends from a shared domain, so a new account ramps up: 20 a day in week 1, 50 a day in week 2, then the full 100. No card. You need to sign up in the dashboard and confirm your email address.
Can my agent sign up and pay by itself?
Your agent can create the account, but it can't use Free: an account created from the CLI or API is agent-owned. It buys Solo or Team instead: molted billing setup (or the billing_checkout_link MCP tool) returns a checkout link it hands to you, and nothing is charged until someone completes the checkout.
How does the trial work?
Your first Solo or Team plan starts with a 3-day trial on starter limits: 100 sends in total, 3 mailboxes, 1 custom domain, 300 inbound emails and 5 humanizer rewrites. Checkout takes your card and charges it when the trial ends. Want the full plan now? Skip the trial at checkout, or end it early with Start my plan now in Settings.
What is the humanizer, and what does it cost?
It's off unless you turn it on. When it's on, a model rewrites each templated email in a casual, professional or friendly tone just before it's sent. Solo includes 50 rewrites a month and Team 300. Past that, rewrites cost $0.02 each, up to twice the allowance. After the cap, and on Free, emails still send, just not rewritten.
Is security the same on every plan?
Yes. Injection screening, quarantine, canary tokens, thread checks, the send policy, approvals and the audit log are on every plan, Free included. Plans differ in mailboxes, domains and volume, not in how safe your agent is.
Do I need my own domain?
No. Free sends from a shared domain. Solo adds 3 custom domains and Team 10; you verify each one with DNS records before it sends.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Manage, in Settings under Plan, opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can change or cancel your plan, update your card and see your invoices.
What if I need more than 50 mailboxes?
Talk to us. Agencies and larger teams get a plan sized to their mailboxes and volume.
