molted pause
Pause your entire account (blocks all sends across every mailbox)
Agent context
Pauses sending across the whole account, not just one mailbox. Use molted mailboxes update <id> --status paused to pause a single mailbox instead.
molted pause --reason "investigating a bounce spike"
# → { "incidentId": "...", "paused": true }Pausing is a control an agent may always tighten. Resuming is usually a human decision -- see molted resume --help.
This command checks GET /v1/ops/incidents first and will not open a second pause incident if the account is already paused (the underlying POST /v1/ops/pause route itself is not idempotent -- see #1907). If that check itself fails (network error, 5xx, ...), pausing is a safety action, so it prints a warning to stderr and pauses anyway rather than blocking on a read that isn't the actual mutation.
